Driving traffic to your site is imperative if you are looking to generate an online income. If you want to sell your products or services then you must drive traffic to your site. There are probably many ways of doing this but the method that works effectively time and time again is article marketing.
And it is pretty easy to get started. The first step to writing articles on a regular basis in order to generate consistent traffic is to make the decision. Decide that you will do whatever it takes to write articles every week that will pull in the traffic you need. Then you need to decide precisely what time of the day or days of the week you will focus on your article writing. Most people prefer to get their article writing exercise done early in the morning. However if you are an evening or night person then that's fine too.
The next step is to just put pen to paper, or get on the keyboard and to start writing. Initially you may find that it takes an hour or two to write a 400 word article. But with practice you will get quicker. Everybody who writes articles started from the very beginning and you may be in this place right now too.
To make your article writing easier, imagine you are writing to your favourite cousin or friend about a particular topic. Keep the language friendly and light. Be specific about the points you are discussing and ensure that by the end of the article your cousin or friend would have learnt something new about your topic or niche.
